Atmospheric unveils Carter the Cockroach in "post-collapse" Christmas campaign

We helped dramatise our readiness for the future with a loveable character “Carter The Cockroach”

With fossil fuel clients pushing for climate breakdown, the future of Christmas has never seemed less certain. That’s why Atmospheric has taken a distinctive approach to reshape the holiday season with the launch of its first “post-collapse” Christmas campaign, featuring the charming character "Carter The Cockroach."

The introduction of Carter the Cockroach embodies the spirit of resilience and adaptation in a world that is still settling in to the effects of climate breakdown.

"Christmas has always symbolized the strength of the human spirit to adapt and overcome," explained Jamie Kolkot, the visionary CEO of Atmospheric. "We saw the opportunity to embrace the 'new normal' by introducing Carter The Cockroach, a character that represents survival, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in changing conditions."

Carter, a resilient six-legged character, will play a central role in a series of heartwarming and whimsically unconventional Christmas-themed advertisements. The campaign will feature Carter navigating a world still influenced by climate instability, with witty insights on the essence of the holiday season.

"We believe that Carter The Cockroach's journey will strike a chord with our audience," added Kolkot. "He embodies the essence of adaptability in the face of adversity, a theme that reflects the resilience of people worldwide during challenging times."

The Carter the Cockroach Christmas Campaign will encompass a series of television and online advertisements, social media initiatives, and an interactive website where users can delve into the world of Carter.

There will also be cuddly cockroach toys, stuffed with real cockroaches.
