Our Pledge

COP28 has shown us that when the fossil fuel industry act as one, we can resist change at every level.

We believe the climate is an emergency. But we also stand for business as usual. Climate activist employees do not align with our values and will all be fired by 2030.

The first question by many will surely be “Why wait until 2030? Why not fire them all now?

By allowing time for a just transition, we can make sure we have reasonable grounds for dismissal, and pay fewer settlements to employees.

It also allows more employees to quit pre-emptively, further avoiding costs.

The transition to a climate-activist-free future shouldn’t come at the expense of the average working CEO.

Who’s signed?

Who hasn’t?

If you work for an agency like McCann that continues to do work and pitch for fossil fuel clients, you’re probably keen to take the next step in slowing the green transition.

It’s time to bring that slow crawl to a grinding halt.
